Fernando Alves (born in São Paulo, June 2, 1980) is an Illustrator and Visual Artist with over 20 years of experience, specializing in concept art, game art, and digital illustration.

He is an experienced Game Artist, Concept Artist, and 2D/3D Artist whose career has been shaped by a passion for storytelling and world-building. Born and raised in São Paulo, Fernando has worked across a wide range of creative fields, from indie titles released on Steam — such as UnderDomain and War Mines — to the gambling industry, where he developed art for Slot Games and Pull Tabs. Skilled in anatomy, environments, and lighting, he brings together creativity and technical mastery with tools like Blender, Photoshop, and Illustrator. His portfolio includes contributions to projects such as Cash&Dash for Rivalry Games. Always striving for innovation, Fernando continues to expand his artistic boundaries and leave his mark on digital art and games.

2006

His professional journey began in 2006 as a Graphic Artist in a publishing house, where he specialized in preparing files for print and retouching images.

2008

In 2008, he moved into illustration and graphic design at the advertising agency Acesso Comunicação, contributing to campaigns for major brands such as Esmaltec, Caterpillar, and Minalba.

2011

He joined Chelles & Hayashi Studio in 2011, where he created product packaging illustrations for Natura. His innovative designs for cosmetic lines gained recognition and contributed to the success of several products in the personal care sector.

2014

In 2014, Fernando transitioned to the gaming industry, taking on roles as a Concept Artist and 2D Artist for international casino games. Over the next eight years, he produced concept art and illustrations for land-based and online platforms, always aiming for innovation and visual excellence.

2020

He played a key role in the development of UnderDomain, a turn-based strategy game, where he designed environments, characters, and cinematics. The project was developed in collaboration with Play Learn.

2023

He contributed as a Concept Artist to multiple Pull Tab games for Pilot Games, creating unique visuals tailored to the market.

2024

Fernando worked on Cash&Dash for Rivalry Games, developing 2D and 3D visual concepts and illustrations that brought the game’s style to life.
